INSTANT RAVA UPMA FOR QUICK AND LAZY BREAKFAST

INGREDIENT

  • Rava                   – 100gms (1cup)
  • Onion                – 1(small finely chopped)
  • Curry leave       – few
  • Green chili        – 2
  • Dry red chili     – 2
  • Oil                       – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seed  – 1 tsp
  • Water                 – 200ml (2 cup)
  • Salt                     –  per taste

METHOD

In a kadai,dry rost rava (sooji) until it turn golden brown and transfer it into a separate bowl. In the same kadai, pour oil and add mustard seed and allow to crack, later add green chili, red chilli , curry leaves and onion. fry until onion turns translucent. Add water and bring it to boil, adjust the taste by adding salt. Now add rava slowly into the kadai and stir continuously until it becomes a solid mass.Simmer for another 5 mins and serve.

Garnish with scrapped coconut and sugar.

Serving : 1 pax approx.
