MIXED VEG KURMA RECIPE FOR BACHELORS BREAKFAST

INGREDIENTS

  • Mixed veg                  – 1 cup (potato,carrot,beans chopped roughly)
  • soya chunks              – 50gms
  • onion                           – 1 medium(finely chopped)
  • ginger garlic paste   – 1 tbsp
  • chili                              – 5
  • curry leaves               – few
  • coconut                      – 1 cup grated
  • saunf                           – 1tsp
  • jeera                            – 2tsp
  • cardamom                – 2
  • clove                           – 2
  • cinnamon                 – 1
  • oil                                – 3 tbsp
  • water                          – 200ml
  • salt                              – required

METHOD

FOR PASTE( in a mixie jar add coconut, jeera, chili and grind it as a paste by adding few drops of  water)

In a pressure cooker, pour oil and heat. Add clove, cardamom, cinnamon,saunf, and onion along with curry leave and allow it to splutter. When onion turns translucent add ginger garlic paste and cook well until raw smell goes off. Now add veggies and soya and mix all together with paste and pour water and bring to boil, meanwhile add salt for taste and allow 2 whistles.

Suggested serving: 2 pax approx

Serves well with Chappathi.
