QUICK AND SIMPLE PULAO RECIPE FOR LAZY SUNDAY

INGREDIENTS

  • Ghee                              – 4tbsp
  • Cardamom                   – 5
  • Cinnamon                    – 3 stick
  • Clove                             – 4
  • Jeera                             – 1 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves               – few
  • Green Chili                  – 4
  • Onion                           – 2 finely chopped
  • Ginger Garlic paste   – 1 tbsp
  • Basmati Rice              – 2 cup
  • Salt                               – 3 tbsp
  • Water                          – 4 cups

(rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it for half an hour)

Instructions

Heat thick bottomed pan, pour ghee and heat it up. Add cardamom, cinnamon, clove, curry leaves, saute them and add onion, green chili cook them until it turns translucent. Ginger garlic paste and stir well. drain the water from rice and fry well in the pan then add water and bring it to boil and cook . when water evaporates completely stir well and close the pan and simmer it for 10mins.

Serving: 2 ppl approx

served well with Mughlai chicken white kuruma. (check recipe)
