RICE PUDDING SWEET | INDIAN KHEER | ARISI PAYASAM | SWEET RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

  • Basmati Rice       – 100gm ( broken coarsely)
  • Ghee                      – 100 ml
  • Cashews                – 50gms (chopped)
  • Raisins                  – 20gms
  • Badam                   – 50 gms (chopped)
  • Cardamom           – 3 (crushed)
  • Milk                       –  2 liter
  • Sugar                     – 200gm

 

METHOD

In a thick bottomed pan add 50 gms ghee and basmati rice, cook until it is roasted in light golden colour, add milk and cook until rice becomes soft. Now add sugar and stir well and simmer it for 10 mins along with crushed cardamom. In a pan ,add 50gm of ghee, cashew, raisin, badam and fry until golden brown in slow flame and pour it into the pudding.
