SIMPLE AND EASY MILAGU SEERAGAM CHICKEN CURRY FOR BACHELORS RECIPE

Ingredients

  • cardamom                       – 2
  • clove                                  – 1
  • cinnamon                        – 1
  • chicken                             – 500gms
  • onion                                – 2(medium)
  • tomato                             – 3
  • green chili                       – 4
  • ginger garlic paste         – 1tbsp
  • chilli powder                  – 3 tsp
  • garam masala                – 1 tsp
  • coriander leave              – few
  • salt                                   – 2 tsp
  • water                                – 150 ml
  • oil                                      – 3 tbsp

For milagu seeragam powder

  • jeera(seeragam)                        – 2 tbsp
  • black peppercorn(milagu)      – 1 tbsp

{Dry roast jeera for 30 secs and grind it along with peppercorn finely and keep aside.}

Preparation (15mins)

In a pressure cooker, pour oil and cardamom,clove,cinnamon is added. when oil is heated up, along with green chilli ,sliced onion is added. when onion turns translucent and starts changing its color add ginger garlic paste and saute well. Chicken is added and stirs a while. tomato is let in and stirred well until it is mashed and cooked now. add milagu seeragam ,chilli powder and garam masala and combine it together. the mixture releases oil and gets separated, at this moment add water and bring  it to boil. close the cooker and allow 4 whistles and simmer for 5 mins.

Open and sprinkle it with coriander leaves.

Serve with Phulka..!!!
